Opened for worship in 1626 with the adjoining convent of the Capuchins, it is adjacent to the city's main cemetery. Now municipal property, it houses the shrine of civilian victims of war in a wing of the cloister below, restored in the 1980s. In the square outside you can admire the monument to civilian victims of war. The work was made by the ceramicist Tommaso Cascella.
